Family: Wife - Megan, Kids - Kaelyn, Harper, Beckett, Liam, Extra - Ariyanah (Being foster parents our "Extra" list will likely grow)
Testimony: I grew up not going to church. In college, Jesus shook my world so much that I "randomly" bought a guitar. In seeking Him it was clear He had a plan for me. God gave me the gift and ability to learn quickly and before I knew it I was leading worship, met my wife, and am continuing on this amazing journey - seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit & glorifying Jesus Christ alone.
Books: Walking With God (John Eldridge, you need to pick this book up!), Ecclesiastes, Worship Matters, How Now Shall We Live, & reading any children's books to my kids
Movies: Star Wars - yes, I love ALL of them, Any Marvel Avengers movie, Now You See Me, Yes Man, and really anything my wife will go see with me
TV Shows: Friends, Bones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Castle, Blindspot, Heroes, Once Upon A Time, Last Man Standing
Bands: Bethel, Shane & Shane, Jeremy Camp, All Sons & Daughters, Hillsong, Jonathan Thulin, For King & Country, Rend Collective, Vertical Church Band, I Am They
Hobbies: Board games with friends, riding scooter with family, writing music, building things (which I barely have time for)
Bible Verses: Romans 12:1-2 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Greatest Experience with God: There are so many experiences with God I wish I could share them all. The one that impacted me most was when my son Harper was born. We were 10 weeks until the due date when we realized something was wrong. Megan was rushed to the hospital in Albany via ambulance. We stayed there 3 days when the doctor decided we needed to deliver by emergency c-section. Once he was born he was immediately taken to the NICU and my wife was taken to recovery. At that point I wasn't able to see my wife nor my child. Even though I was scared, unsure, and anxious, all I could do was pray - "God, you are in control, I trust you for the outcome, and know that through whatever you have in store for us, You will provide the strength." Harper is thriving now, you wouldn't even know he was born early. The doctors were amazed and we were able to give glory only to Jesus and share that miracle with all those we came into contact with.
