Helping each other know & follow Jesus in our home, city, and world.

Join us Sundays @ 10:30 AM

And Peter had followed him at a distance... Mark 14:54

Very few events change the world permanently. We may be experiencing one now. But the cross of Jesus Christ reordered everything! I would say that all of you reading this right now would agree with me.

BUT...

Like Peter, we can KNOW something to be true but live in a way that CONTRADICTS our confession.

If we truly KNOW Jesus is the only hope for humanity, then our behavior should follow that knowledge more and more every day. Yes, becoming like Jesus is a lifelong process. Scripture says our growth is like...

  • A farmer who plants a crop
  • Children growing up
  • Running a long-distance race
  • Traveling under the rising sun

Are you pursuing Jesus day after day in a way that is true to these metaphors? You should be fighting sin, apathy, and worldliness while intentionally and consistently pursuing intimacy with Jesus!

Many of you are growing in your love for Jesus, as evidenced by the HOPE you are experiencing, even as we live in these uncertain and perplexing times. Jesus provides this supernatural peace and hope to His children! He tells us in Philippians 4:7—

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I want to ask you to do two things this week:

  1. Pray and thank God for the peace you are experiencing in Christ during this period of dramatic and uncertain times. Confessany fears with which you may be struggling as a result of a lack of faith. *Remember, you can subscribe to my daily devotion This email address is being protected from spambots. 2. Share your hope with someone else! Our elders request that we create a short video you can share on Facebook or through email to encourage family and friends to encounter Jesus through His Word by watching our Sunday morning worship.  Please share one of the videos below!
