We all want peace in our lives. In John 14, Jesus promises peace to His followers because He promises them the Holy Spirit.
That promise applies to us as well. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we too can have peace with God and seek to bring that peace into our relationships with others.

Knowing that our behavior flows from our thought life, take an inventory of the things that you tend to think about the most.
Consider Philippians 4:8.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
What are specific steps you can take in the coming year to submit yourself to the Holy Spirit? Perhaps establishing a daily Bible reading plan, seeking intentional accountability, or taking the lead in the spiritual development of your family.
Write those things down and give them to at least one other person who will pray for you and make sure you’re following through on those commitments.
