Dr. Sarfati stressed the importance of every parent being more knowledgeable than their children in matters of faith and science. Media is shaping our children. YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook: these platforms are impacting your children's thinking way more than most parents realize! We must educate ourselves and be intentional in our discipleship!

A popular illustration stresses that the best way to recognize a counterfeit is by learning as much as possible about the real thing. So parents must:

• Open the Bible and lead your kids to Jesus! Leading them to Jesus is so much more than getting them to pray the sinner's prayer and seeing them baptized. Never stop leading them to Jesus (Resource here)!
• Be prepared to answer your children's questions (see 1 Peter 3:15). Got Questions is an amazing website for answers, and it's all free!
• Know what your children are watching and listening to. There are many great resources to help parents monitor their kid's online activities (click here).
• Creation Ministries and  Answers in Genesis are great resources for science/evolution questions.
