Welcome to a special Boxing Day edition of Living Sunday. My hope is that you had a wonderful Christmas yesterday.

Sunday we considered the 3 groups of unbelievers in the Matthew 2 narrative. Only one, the Magi, were curious enough to seek the newborn King.

We wrapped by asking you to read 2 Corinthians 13:5 this week. A verse that invites us all to look back on 2023 and examine ourselves.

Are you more like Jesus than you were at the end of last year? Less? Not sure? Interested in being sure? Then find a brother or sister you trust and ask them. Ask for honesty in humility. Resist the temptation to get defensive. If we’re going to make any real difference in the coming year… one the matters with God in Heaven, we’ll all need to be more like Jesus!

I'll leave you with this thought. 1 Corinthians 4:20 tells us the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. Not our power, His. The key to unlocking His power... Asking!
